Classes are held weekly in heart of the oil county.

Accident Investigation 4 hours

Properly respond to a workplace accident with an investigation that looks toward the real reason an employee was injured and how to prevent it from happening again. The real causes of injuries are not always what they first appear to be. The training is required every annually depending on business policy.

Aerial Lift Operators 3-4 hours

Depending on class size on level of experience of employees. Classroom, test and hands on pre operation and operation of Aerial Lift. This class is designed for employees who operator hydraulic lifts. The training is required every 2 years. Video, test, pre-operation functions, hands on driving.

Back Safety 1 Hour

Depending on class size This course is designed for employees who are required to lift as part of their job description, however, all are welcome. Lifting techniques and basic biomechanics will be discussed and demonstrated. If you’ve ever had trouble with your back, knees, shoulders, or neck; this course will give you practical information to minimize risk factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), and potential sprain/strain and injury. Annual refresher is recommended.

Blood borne Pathogens 1 Hour

Depending on class size Annual blood borne pathogen training covers all employees for exposures with blood or potentially infectious materials during the course of their job duties. Blood borne pathogens include Hepatitis A, B, and C and HIV.

Confined Space Awareness 2 Hours

Depending on class size Confined spaces are areas that have openings large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work; has limited or restricted means for entry or exit; and is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. Training is required for all employees who may work in a confined space. The training includes recognition of potentially harmful atmospheres and physical hazards associated with these spaces. Class is typically taught in conjunction with H2S. Refresher course recommend annually depending on company policy.

Confined Space & H2S Entrant Attendant Supervisor 4 Hours

Confined spaces are areas that have openings large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work; has limited or restricted means for entry or exit; and is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. Training is required for all employees who may work in a confined space. The training includes recognition of potentially harmful atmospheres and physical hazards associated with these spaces. H2S training is required for anyone working in the oilfield or petrochemical industry. Hydrogen Sulfide training is required for all workers involved in oil exploration, production and refining. In order to work safely around hydrogen sulfide, you must be aware of its properties and characteristics. This H2S Training program teaches how to recognize when Hydrogen Sulfide is present in the work area and take necessary precautions to work with Hydrogen Sulfide safely. This H2S training helps fulfill the training requirements of API Recommended Practice 49, ANSI Z390.1 and other regulatory standards. Refresher course recommend yearly depending on company policy. Annual refresher is recommended.

Oil Field Confined Space Competent Person 8 Hour - call for full details

CPR/AED First Aid 4 Hours

We offer a wide variety of courses in CPR and First Aid. Employees are encouraged to participate in this program. Your supervisor or EH&IS may require this certification as part of your job description. Depending on organization certification card is for 2 years.

Defensive Driver – Company Car & Truck 4 hour

Depending on policy, may require all employees who drive company owned vehicles an average of more than once a month. Classroom, Test, Prestart up, Generals, Hands on Driving, Winter Driving Skills. Initial training and certification prior to driving and refresher every 3 years is recommended.

Defensive Driver Semi 4 hours

Depending on level of employees, Depending on policy, may require all employees who drive company owned vehicles an average of more than once a month. Classroom, Test, Prestart up, Generals, Hands on Driving Skills, Winter Driving Skills. Semi-tractor can be provided with notice. Initial training and certification prior to driving and refresher every 3 years is recommended.

Independent Semi Driver Skill Training

Depending on level of employee Classroom, Test, Prestart up, Generals, Hands on Driving Skills, Winter Driving Skills. Semi-tractor can be provided with notice. Truck provided and can be used for employees state driving test.

Electrical Safety Compliance Training 4 Hours

Upon completion employees will understand key elements of the electrical safety regulation

Issued by OSHA. Attendees will develop the knowledge and skills to: understand key elements of the OSHA Electrical Safety regulation; recognize and correctly use key terms and concepts relating to electrical safety; recognize the importance of electrical safety-related work practices; differentiate between qualified and unqualified workers in order to identify appropriate training and protection requirements; identify key elements of a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure; identify the four main types of electrical injuries; identify practices and procedures to protect employees who work on or near electrical conductors and equipment from the electrical hazards associated with this type of work. 2 year refresher is recommended.

Emergency Preparedness 2-4 Hours

Depending on type of business This course is designed to help employees understand the information and preparation techniques that will help them cope in the event of an emergency or disaster. Emergencies may include natural disasters, bomb threats, workplace violence, chemical spills, and fire. What to do before, during, and after an emergency is discussed. Emergency Preparedness is a component of our general safety training. Yearly refresher is recommended depending on business policy.

Ergonomics 2 Hours

Depending on type of business Attendees will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of ergonomic related injuries and how to properly set up or adjust a workstation. Handouts related to office ergonomic guidelines will be provided along with additional information on self assessing your work environment. Course is designed for employees who work in an office setting. Participates will learn to recognize risk factors associated with muscular-skeletal disorders (MSDs), and potential sprain/strain injuries as well as be familiar with the body areas affected. Useful exercises and workstation design are included. Yearly refresher is recommended depending on insurance and business policy.

Fall Protection 4 Hours

Depending on type of business Training is provided for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. This 4-hour course is designed to teach students about methods of eliminating, controlling and preventing fall hazards. It addresses the requirements detailed in the OSHA Fall Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1926, Subpart M Fall Protection. Yearly refresher is recommended.

Fall Protection 8 Hours

Depending on type of business Training is provided for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. This 8-hour course is designed to teach students about methods of eliminating, controlling and preventing fall hazards types of protection. Yearly refresher is recommended.

Fire Extinguisher – Fire Watch 4 Hours

Fire extinguisher training is designed to familiarize employees with the types, use, and limitations of operating a fire extinguisher. This training is offered during General Safety Training, or can be schedule for individual department as necessary. Yearly refresher recommended.

Forklift Training 4 hours

Depending on classroom size Forklift certification is required every 3 years for employees who operate forklifts as part of their job duties. Training includes the potential hazards associated with forklifts and hand-on operation of the forklift and classroom.


HAZWOPER 8 Hour Initial or Refresher

This course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. Topics include HAZWOPER regulations, safety and health plans, hazardous chemicals, safety hazards, air monitoring, medical surveillance, site control, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory equipment.

HAZWOPER 24 Hour

In accordance with Title 8 Section 5192 (e) of the General Industry Safety Orders, Training: Workers on site only occasionally for a specific limited task (such as, but not limited to, ground water monitoring, land surveying, or geophysical surveying) and who are unlikely to be exposed over PELs and published exposure levels shall receive a minimum of 24 hours instruction. In addition, workers regularly on site who work in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized indicating that exposures are under PELs and published exposure levels where respirators are not necessary, and the characterization indicates that there are no health hazards or the possibility of an emergency developing shall also receive a minimum of 24 hours instruction. Certified curriculum includes the following: Names of personnel and alternates responsible for site safety and health; Safety, health and other hazards present on the site; Use of PPE; Work practices by which the employee can minimize risks from hazards; Safe use of engineering controls and equipment on the site; Medical surveillance requirements including recognition of symptoms and signs which might indicate overexposure to hazards; and Site safety and health plans. Annual refresher required.

H2S PLUS– 3 1/2 - 4 Hour

This H2S Training program teaches how to recognize when Hydrogen Sulfide is present in the work area and take necessary precautions to work with Hydrogen Sulfide safely. Annual refresher is recommended. Taught with confined space.

Hazardous Substance

Information and Training Act ( the Right-To-Know Law) requires that all employees be provided with ready access to important health and safety information regarding hazardous substances. Require initial and recurrent training of all employees who perform Work functions covered by the Hazardous Materials Regulations. Any employee whose work directly affects hazardous materials transportation safety is required to have training. Yearly refresher is recommended.

Hearing Conservation 2 Hours

This course is intended for employers and employees alike. It is a comprehensive program that is designed to teach you the basics of a great hearing conservation program. You will learn why you need to have a hearing conservation plan and what is required to be included in the plan by both OSHA and MSHA. Topics include monitoring, employee notification, observation, hearing testing, hearing protection, training, and recordkeeping. After initial training a refresher recommended every two years or according to employer policy.

JSA – Job Safety Analysis 2 hours

Increase the knowledge of hazards in the workplace is to conduct a job hazard analysis on individual tasks. This procedure helps integrate accepted safety and health principles and practices into a particular operation. Each basic step of the job is examined to identify potential hazards and to determine the safest way to do the job. Each person will write a JSA. After initial training a refresher recommended every two years or according to employer policy.

Ladder Safety Scaffolding 2 Hours

Stairways and ladders are a major source of injuries and fatalities among construction workers. OSHA estimates that there are 25,000 estimated injuries and as many as 40 fatalities per year due to falls from stairways and ladders used in construction. After initial training a refresher recommended every two years or according to employer policy.

Lockout/Tagout 4 Hours

This course provides for procedures for employees who maintain any electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other energy systems, which could unexpectedly start up and cause injury. Authorized employees will isolate and lock and tag the equipment to warn others that maintenance is occurring and equipment cannot be operated. Annual refresher recommended.

OSHA 10 Hour General Industry 10 Hours

This classroom course is regarding safety and health topics and OSHA standards, is valuable for employees and supervisors alike. Course includes an introduction to OSHA standards, inspections process and citations. Recordkeeping, walking and working surfaces, degrees, fire protection, electrical, machine guarding and several other subjects will be covered.

OSHA 10 Hour Construction 10 Hours

This classroom course is regarding safety and health topics and OSHA standards, is valuable for employees and supervisors alike. Course includes an introduction to OSHA standards, inspections process and citations. Recordkeeping, walking and working surfaces, degrees, fire protection, electrical, machine guarding and several other subjects will be covered. Yearly refresher is recommended. Electives can be contoured to your industry. Using OSHA standards as a guide, special emphasis is placed upon the most hazardous areas of a jobsite. Topics include material handling, excavation, fall protection, cranes, electrical, OSHA Act, hearing conservation, PPE and more.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction 30 Hours

This course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors, the program Provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. Using OSHA standards as a guide,

Special emphasis is placed upon the most hazardous areas of a jobsite. Topics include material handling, excavation, fall protection, cranes, electrical, OSHA Act, hearing conservation, PPE and More.

Operating Heavy Equipment 4 Hour

Depending on level of employee John Deere, Komastu, Cat, Geni, JLG, Bobcat (all types covered) Loader, Tool Carrier, Skidster, Telehandler, Crane, Rigging – all types heavy equipment covered. Classroom and hands on equipment training. Pre-inspection, daily walk around, winter driving, night driving, demonstrate putting attachments on and off, performance test & daily maintenance. Refresher recommended every two years.
